Composer / Lyricist

Recently I took on the role of Composer/Lyricist for new British musical, Kin. The process began in the summer of 2021 and has since seen 2 sell-out shows at The Other Palace and a week long run of the first fully realised production at The Factory Playhouse in Hitchin.

KIN THE MUSICAL

KIN The Musical

Noah, a skilled rock climber, is broken & physically scarred after a tragic accident but Ashville, the small southern American town he lives in, has other problems!

The KIN, a controversial community attracting people from all over the world, has purchased an old ranch in the little town, causing unthinkable conflict with the townsfolk. Misfit Noah, the mayor’s son, desperate to prove himself to his father, is forced to take matters into his own hands and save the town from disaster.

Noah climbs down the side of the cliff, the only entrance and secretly joins the community. What Noah doesn’t know, is that Cora, a Kinsperson, is going to burst into his world in a riot of colour. And what neither of them know, is that they are going to change each other’s lives forever.

Wanderer

A new composition intended for a new musical. The song is about a free-spirited young girl who comes through town, leaving anyone who she comes into contact with feeling better for the experience but inevitably saddened by her changeable nature. It’s a love song that focuses on the positive experience of love lost.

Crawlspace The Musical.

I’m working closely with two wonderful writers, Matt Glickstein and Jason Spraggins, to produce a new musical based on the story of the serial killer John Gacy. They are two of my favourite co-writers and they’ve brought me in on the project for the instrumental arrangements and production. Here are a few demos.

Paint With Different Colors

Written by Jason Spraggins (Memphis, TN) and Matt Glickstein (Hawaii), I produced this record with a modern Disney film in mind. This song is getting excellent recognition from publishing companies and we hope to see this feature in a film soon.

Ease My Worries

Here is a record written for a short film to be released later this year called ‘Tags‘. It’s about a homeless man who meets a young girl who has run away from home. The two find comfort in each others company at a time where everything else in their lives seems so restless.
